ESTABLISHING A STRONG CAMPUS PRESENCE
Alpha Kappa Psi - Professional Business Fraternity
As Director of Marketing for the Beta Upsilon chapter of AKPsi, I was tasked with giving the fraternity a larger voice on campus and promoting events to potential new members. I directed a recruitment campaign to spark interest in student membership, resulting in record recruitment registration and turnout. This effort leveraged tactics across web, social, print, out-of-home, and events.
THE STATS:
INCREASED TOTAL RUSH CAMPAIGN ENGAGEMENT BY 228% IN 6 MONTHS
- Average of 2,207 accounts were reached with each post
- On average, 48% of the accounts reached with each post were non-followers
- Average of 3,270 impressions made with each post
- Average of 143 actions were taken with each post

Based on the fall 2021 rush theme, ESPN, this video highlights an aspect of diversity within the fraternity's members: student athlete members and leadership alike join together to "compete" in their respective sports and career fields. I had the pleasure of filming, directing, and producing this video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
"SPORTS CENTER TOP 10" TIPS FOR RUSH SUCCESS
In order to provide rushes with tips for success during rush week, I teamed up with AKPsi leadership to create a video play on "Sports Center Top 10" as seen on ESPN. In this video, older members give advice to younger potential new members with their "Top 10" tips for success. I filmed, scripted, directed, and produced this video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
