SHIFTING CONCUSSION CULTURE, ONE ATHLETE AT A TIME

Headway Concussion Foundation


Over the duration of my year-long internship:

  • Produced five media pieces a week to distribute to partner universities and social media pages to strengthen and develop relationships with student athletes as well as NCAA Board Members.
  • Collaborated with three executives to create and implement a targeted campaign for 2021 Concussion Awareness Week, resulting in setting a new participation record of 11,000 student-athletes across the globe.
  • Presented fundraiser and awareness events to NCAA student-athletes during Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meetings to grow participation and promote safer collegiate sports concussion culture.
